Demetric


"Metric"

Demetric is a dynamic leader, mentor, Biblical teacher, and community advocate.  He was selected to serve on the Community Action Advisory Board for the city of San Antonio, advising the City Council on various issues impacting the poor and underserved.  He created an ecosystem of impact to influence/advance human relationships in three key areas:  community, personal/spiritual, and family.  For community, he founded 300 Seconds, a non-profit organization whose mission is to ameliorate the negative effects of social conditions, 300 seconds (or 5 minutes) at a time.  He fosters personal and spiritual growth through the Journey life group, comprised of a diverse group of individuals who challenge and push themselves to succeed in all areas of life with a Biblical foundation.  Finally, to build families, God's Great Spirit instructed him and his wife to share what they have learned as a couple by mentoring and consulting families to be more than, creating value for themselves and others.   
 
Leadership:  300 Seconds, the Journey, and Team Byrd INC.  
Short term goal:  Finish the Family Playbook guide.
Long term goal:  PMP certification.

Mimi


"Mims"

Mimi is an active duty Air Force member who works in the healthcare administration field, focusing on access to care for eligible department of defense beneficiaries.  She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Hampton University, a Master's in Business Administration from Troy University, and  is currently working on a Doctorate degree in Healthcare Administration.   She has served over 21 years in the military and looks forward to settling down in San Antonio after retirement. She works alongside her husband as a board member of 300 Seconds Inc. and serves in various capacities with children's ministry at the Journey life group.  One of her greatest joys in life is being a mother to her four beautiful daughters. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, watching movies, running, and relaxation.
 
Leadership:  300 Seconds board member, Children's  Ministry. 
Short term goal:  Personal physical fitness goals.
Long term goal:  Complete Doctorate degree in Healthcare Administration.

Sarah


"Sa-rose" or "Sharah"

Sarah is a high school freshman.  She was accepted into Health Careers High School, ranked #1 Best Magnet High School in San Antonio.  In middle school she received numerous awards for academic and athletic achievements to include multiple recognitions for all "A" Honor Roll, Top Tennis Athlete placed third in district for girls middle school tennis.  She is also a two-time recipient of the President's Award for academic achievement.  Through family mentoring/business coaching she started "Sarah's Accessories", creating homemade jewelry. 
 
Leadership:  Former Student Council President with an eye for succeeding.  
Short term goal:  Make the girls varsity "A" tennis team. 
Long term goal:  Work in the Healthcare field.  

Moriah


"MoMo"

Moriah is in the fourth grade and enjoys various outdoor activities such as rollerskating, swimming, and tennis.  She has received multiple Citizenship awards and recognition for good behavior/willingness to help teachers and fellow classmates.  Moriah has taken a keen interest in crypto currency and personally selected Bitcoin, Basic Attention Token, and Chainlink for initial investments.  Through family mentoring/business coaching she started "Moriah's Products" selling custom tote bags.
  
Leadership:  Bible study and prayer assistant.  
Short term goal:  Invest more to accumulate 10 Chainlink.
Long term goal:  Rank top 3 of boys and girls middle school tennis team.

Hannah


"Boss Baby"

Boss Baby Hannah loves to sing, jump, and play.  Her favorite song is "Happy Birthday".  She loves to read and enjoys all things shoes.  Her favorite book is Busy Noisy Farm by Julia Lobo.  When not bouncing around the house, watching her favorite shows, or playing outside, she can be found enjoying a nice afternoon nap.  She has also become quite savvy with the iPhone and enjoys almost daily FaceTime calls with her grandpa...more affectionately known as pop-pop.

Leadership:  Aggressively pushing the boundaries of exploring.  Mentor for baby sister Nevaeh.
Short term goal:  Potty trained by age 3.
Long term goal:   Ready for Pre-K.
